Working with Notes in Preview
Inside the Preview tool:
-
All notes are displayed alongside the document.
-
Hover over a note in the notes list to highlight its location in the document.
-
Hover over the document itself to see highlighted markers for all notes.
When many users add notes, the document can become crowded with overlapping annotations. Cognidox provides an easy way to manage this.
Filtering Notes by Creator
To make the review process more manageable:
-
Look at the user list on the right side of the Preview tool (above the notes list).
-
Click on a user's name to hide or show their notes.
-
Clicking a user's name will toggle their notes on or off.
-
This allows you to focus on one reviewer’s feedback at a time.
-
This filtering method is especially helpful when multiple reviewers have commented heavily on the same sections of a document.
