To specify the number of characters in a password, case sensitivity, and so on, use the MySQL Password plugin.

In brief, the instructions are as follows:

  1. Display the Cognidox homepage and choose Manage Cognidox from the menu.
  2. Display the Settings & Configuration tab and click on the Plugins link.
  3. Open the MySQL Password Plugin and scroll down to the options starting with Minimum password length.
  4. Set up the options to suit your requirements (click the help icons to see a description for each field).
  5. Scroll down and click Set Configuration.
